About

Elle Design & Communications (ElleDC) provides a wide range of graphic design and communications services, with specialties including print and web design, communications and public relations strategy, branding, and collateral. ElleDC is led by Laura Hayes-Heuer, who brings years of experience in graphic design, public relations, communications, and on Capitol Hill.

Laura began her career in politics, working in the U.S. House and Senate, including as a Communications Director for the U.S. Senate Finance Committee. The next decade was spent with a progressive public relations firm, promoting the achievements of national organizations and foundations. Work included running major media release campaigns and events, leading the graphic design team, and overseeing design production from start to finish.

Throughout her career, Laura has seen first-hand the important role beautiful graphic design and strong communications play in successful campaigns – from data that becomes clear in a clever infographic to dynamic event materials that draw your attention to crisp annual reports that highlight a year’s work. By always looking at the big picture, Elle Design & Communications helps organizations and businesses reach their goals and make a positive difference. Laura received her BA in English and Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder and design training from The New School, Parsons School of Design.
